Made by master herbalist Mark T. Brinson (USA) using traditional methods, returning some of the original herbs to the formula that had previously been removed for commercial production.
Zheng Xie Gu Shui, or Evil Bone Water for short, contains only the highest grade herbs available.
As the name suggests, it can enhance the healing of bones and shorten the recovery time of fractures. When a bone breaks, you can apply it to the area of unbroken skin to relieve pain immediately, until the bone can be set back into place at the hospital.
Evil Bone Water is useful to have on hand, especially for the very active or accident-prone.

Ingredients in Evil Bone Water:
Zhang Nao (Camphor). Improves blood circulation and relieves pain.
Bo He Nao (Menthol). Addresses pain and inflammation.
Gui Pi (Cinnamon Bark). Stimulates circulation and acts as a natural muscle relaxant.
Bai Niu Dan (Inula Cappa DC). Reduces dampness within the body.
San Qi / Tian Qi (Notoginseng, Pseudoginseng). Relieves pain, eases swelling/inflammation, reduces bruising, and stops bleeding without clotting.
Huang Qin (Scutellaria Root, Radix Scutellariae Baicalensis). Anti-inflammatory, pain reliever.
E Zhu (Zedoary Rhizome, Rhizoma Curcumae). Pain relief. Improves circulation.
Bai Zhi (Angelica Root). Relieves muscular pain and inflammation.
Hu Zhang (Knotweed Rhizome). Increases circulation and relieves pain.
Qian Jin Ba (Philippine Flemingia Root). Goes deep to relieve bone pain from acute injury or arthritis.
The final ingredient is grain alcohol, used to extract the medicinal compounds from the herbs more efficiently.
Instructions:
Moisten a gauze pad or a piece of flannel with Evil Bone Water. You'll want it saturated, but not dripping.
Apply to the affected area and allow it to absorb for 30–45 minutes maximum.
Or apply 2–3 times a day to the affected area with a cotton ball and allow it to dry.
Enjoy quick relief.
EBW changes skin permeability, meaning it quickly penetrates the skin and also draws other things in with it. If you are using anything else topically, like essential oils, they will permeate the skin faster when used with EBW.
EBW can be used on the entire body or in foot baths, and will again enhance absorption of anything else used in the bath. If using a muscle soak formulated with magnesium and essential oils, the healing properties of the ingredients will reach the muscles faster when paired with EBW.
Tip: The solution will stain, so be cautious of where it comes into contact.
Limitations and Contraindications
Since EBW is a topical analgesic, it works best for treating surface-level injuries or ailments rather than deep internal injuries or ailments. The deeper it needs to penetrate, the less effective it is.
Not recommended for treating abdominal pain or hip issues.
EBW is considered broad-spectrum, but if used repeatedly with little effect, it might not be the proper treatment.
Do not use over the sacrum or abdomen while pregnant.
Do not wrap in plastic and use as a compress — not letting it breathe can cause blistering.
Safe for use on children, but watch for irritation. Can be used on the face with care.
Maker's note: Most people have no idea that what's sold in the USA is often of inferior quality, and most herbalists might not even think much about it. The real difference — and what makes this magnitudes better — is herb quality. Most US-made versions use B or C quality herbs, which is what's commonly available from US suppliers. Crafting it instead with imperial grade herbs (2–5 grades above normal) makes it basically a different product.
